St. John Neumann and its leadership are committed to promoting a safe environment for everyone including children, youth, and vulnerable adults. All employees and volunteers who have either regular or unsupervised interactions with children, youth, or vulnerable adults must be in compliance with the Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements (re-credentialing is required every three years) known as Essential 3. Your understanding and attention to this subject helps to create and sustain a culture of safety in our parish community. New Adult Volunteer Registration
Total Time Commitment: Approximately 95 minutes

Select Your Organization: Carefully choose St. Paul and Minneapolis, MN (Archdiocese)
Enter your full legal name. Do not use nicknames or punctuation.
Primary Location: If your location is a school, select the location with School in the title.
Carefully read and follow the instructions on the website in the order presented.
1) Complete the Code of Conduct.
2) Complete the Background Check application.
3) Complete Safe Environment Training (approximately 75 minutes).
Confirm that you have completed all requirements with your Safe Environment Coordinator, [email protected].
All of the above requirements must be completed before you volunteer.

You can complete your background re-check, complete Safe Environment re-training, as well as read and sign a Code of Conduct online.

*Safe Environment Training (Approximately 30-35 minutes).

You are not allowed to start volunteering until you get clearance from the staff member of the ministry you are volunteering for.

All teens/minors under the age of 18 working with youth and/or vulnerable adults must complete a Volunteer Application form, Code of Conduct for Youth, and provide two (2) personal references from contacts that are not your parents, legal guardian, or relatives. Forms must also be digitally signed by a Parent/Legal Guardian. You will need:
