The Just Marketplace - Fair Trade

The Just Marketplace Ministry invites you to join us at an impactful sale benefiting farmers and artisans in developing countries and disadvantaged regions! The 17th Annual Fair and Ethical Trade Sale will be held on Saturday, November 4th, from 10:00AM to 3:00PM in the SJN Social Hall. The fair trade organizations represented at our sale provide a fair wage to workers. This fair wage enables families to escape poverty and access educational opportunities for their children, clean water, job training, and medical care. Shop for household items, jewelry, unique gifts, coffee, tea, chocolate, spices, and more!

Volunteer opportunities are available for teens and adults on Friday, November 3, and Saturday, November 4.  Please sign up to volunteer HERE.   Thank you for your support!

The Annual Fair Trade sale strives to carry out the gospel values of loving our brothers and sisters, and Catholic Social Teachings of caring for the poor, providing dignity to workers and to stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters around the world by:

1. Providing an alternative way to shop that encourages a direct beneficial relationship between producers and consumers.
2. Creating a greater understanding of global solidarity and generate cross cultural awareness
3. Educating individuals on how purchases can impact economically disadvantaged producers and demonstrate how Fair Trade advances social justice.
