Job Opportunity : Youth and Young Adult Ministries Coordinator

St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Eagan, MN seeks a Youth andYoung Adult Ministries Coordinator to join the Faith Formation Team in “forming disciples of all ages who know Jesus’ love and enthusiastically live our Catholic Christian life.” You’ll have the unique opportunity to connect many families, youth, young adults, and volunteers with this driving mission, walking with them as we discover and live our faith. This position is 32 hours/week and includes benefits. Compensation is based on education and experience. While administrative tasks are a given in a large parish, you build meaningful relationships with and between those you serve. Staff and the broader parish collaborate and work closely as we minister together.

Responsibilities include living as a disciple of Jesus Christ; collaborating with the Faith Formation Team (including Youth Formation and Confirmation Preparation Coordinator) and broader staff for faithful, thoughtful, and comprehensive discipleship; cultivating relationships; calling forth and forming volunteers; facilitating young adult ministry; coordinating retreats for all youth; participating with Confirmation Retreats; facilitating monthly youth social and/or service activities; collaborate in formation with youth with special needs; coordinating annual blessing of graduates; participating with youth groups as time permits; coordinating summer youth ministries; engaging youth in the broader parish life; working with relevant budget; communicating effectively, promptly, and proactively.
