Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday and culminates with the resurrection of the Lord at the Easter. We look forward to worshipping with you during the pinnacle of the entire liturgical year!
Palm Sunday
Saturday: 5pm & Sunday: 8am, 10am, 12pm, 5:30pm
The start of Holy Week! Please pick up a palm from the Gathering Spaces before mass. At the start of Mass, the congregation is invited to the Gathering Space for the Blessing of Palms and Opening Gospel reading, then may follow the crossbearer down the main aisle during the procession and take their seats. We hear the Passion Gospel reading proclaimed during the Liturgy of the Word.
*Please maintain a solemn silence in the Gathering Space during the entirety of the Holy Triduum*
Holy Thursday
No 7:30am or 12pm daily Masses, adoration, or Confessions. All are welcome to the Archdiocese Chrism Mass @10am in the Cathedral of St. Paul.
Mass of the Lord's Supper @7PM
We celebrate Jesus' Last Supper, where he instituted the Eucharist and taught us that He is truly present in the Eucharist, despite the outward appearance of bread.
The presider will wash the feet of a handful of parishioners selected beforehand to show the humility of Christ washing the feet of the apostles.
Prayer Vigil at Altar of Repose: Following the Mass of the Lord's Supper, the Holy Eucharist will be removed from the tabernacle of the Church and processed to the Altar of Repose in the Emmaus Chapel, not to return until Christ has risen. Following the procession, you are invited to keep watch with the Lord in the Emmaus Chapel until Midnight, at which point the tabernacle doors will be closed as the day of the Lord's Passion begins. Sign-Up for Thursday's Vigil can be found here: Holy Thursday Prayer Vigil Sign-Up
