Church of Gichitwaa Kateri - School  Supplies

Our sister parish in South Minneapolis serves members of the Native American community.

Since 1975 (as the Blessed Kateri Community until 2008) members of the Catholic American Indian community celebrate Eucharist weekly in a way that respects the American Indian spiritual traditions incorporating religious songs, pipe ceremony, and use of the medicines.

Year Round Support from St. John Neumann

• Food Donation: accepted weekly at SJN
• School Supplies: June – August
• Winter Apparel: September – October
• Halloween candy - Fall Party: September – mid-October
• Christmas Support through The Giving Tree: financial donations or gift cards are used to purchase Christmas gifts, warm clothing, and personal care items for the elders and their families
