The Metropolitan Interfaith Council on Affordable Housing (MICAH) works in cooperation with area churches of all denominations to promote the building and preservation of affordable housing in local cities, Dakota County, and the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. MICAH believes that every person should have a safe, decent and affordable home. Saint John Neumann is a member of MICAH and is within the MICAH South Group of congregations that are located in Dakota County cities such as Eagan, Apple Valley, Burnsville, Rosemount, Lakeville, Farmington and Inver Grove Heights.   Details...

Based on Catholic Social Teaching the Just Marketplace Ministry of St. John Neumann strives to provide an alternative way to shop that encourages a direct, beneficial relationship between producers and consumers. We endeavor to create a greater understanding within the parish community about global solidarity and to generate cross cultural awareness. Our goal is to educate the parish community on how their purchases can impact economically disadvantaged producers and demonstrate how Fair Trade advances social justice.   Details...

Help articulate,shape, and lead the justice & charity ministries at St. John Neumann. Promote sharing of ideas and information among Justice and Charity ministry leaders and participants as well as other commissions.
