| Liturgical leadership and vision are essential to good community worship. The Liturgy Commission guides the community's celebration of the Eucharist, which energizes us to go forth to live daily as followers of Jesus Christ. |
| Description |
| Vision; develop long range plans and policies; encourage full involvement of the community in worship. Six two-hour meetings per year. Involvement is limited to liturgical ministry coordinators and those with knowledge of liturgy. |
| Responsibilities | |
- Vision and review liturgical seasons
- Oversee recruitment, evaluation, formation, and appreciation of liturgical ministries
- Facilitate communication with the parish at large
- Communicate with the parish council regarding liturgical needs and gifts
- Be willing to study and learn about liturgy and scripture

| Qualifications |
| A love of the liturgy. Sensitivity to the needs of our worshipping community. Knowledge of the liturgy of the church. Experience in liturgical ministries at St. John Neumann. Ability to work as a team member. |
| Time Commitment |
| 2 hour meeting every other month, Time spent talking with parishioners, reading, and assisting with events and seasons. |
