Prayer is a response in loving service to the physical and spiritual needs of our local, regional, and global communities. Prayerful worship nourishes our faith and energizes us to go forth to live daily as followers of Jesus Christ.
Description
Attend mass, pray the rosary, participate in Eucharistic Adoration ending with Benediction. Monday evenings 6:30-8:00 p.m. The primary focus is praying for an end to abortion and respect for all life from conception to natural death.
Responsibilities 
  • Attend mass, pray the rosary, participate in Eucharistic Adoration ending with Benediction on Monday evenings 6:30-8:00 p.m.
  • Pray for respect for life from conception to natural death.
  • May volunteer to assist with set up, clean up, incense or reposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
  • Other activities have included bringing a speaker to SJN, helping with petition drives after Sunday mass once or twice a year or participating in activities related to the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision.
Qualifications
Willingness to take time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Compassion for some of the most vulnerable in our society - the unborn, the ill, the aged.
Time Commitment
Time commitment depends on how you choose to participate. 1 1/2 hours Monday evenings when available
