| Description |
| Assist Prayer Leader with "Liturgy of the Word with Children" during the 5:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m., or 10:00 a.m. Masses. |
| Responsibilities | |
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to Mass. Assist Prayer Leader in setting up the chapel.
- Dismiss with children after opening prayer and return to liturgy at the Preparation of the Gifts. (Does not necessitate attending another Mass.)
- Assist Prayer Leader as needed with readings and child supervision.
- Encourage children's sharing through active listening.

| Qualifications |
| Abiltiy to read and share faith with young children.
Must attend Prohibited Behaviors Orientation Class (scheduled several times during the fall months and approximately 2 hours in length).

| Time Commitment |
| Approximately four Liturgy of the Word with Children sessions per year for 20 minutes during 5 pm, 8 am, or 10 am weekend liturgy. One scheduling meeting in the fall.
