dsc04132The Giving Tree allows parishioners to live the values of the Kingdom as we respond in loving service to the needs of our local, regional, and global communities. The Giving Tree supports organizations that provide basic needs and works to incorporate social justice to help address the underlying social and economic structures that cause poverty.

Beginning seven weeks before Christmas, decorated trees with ornaments will be placed in the gathering space. Each ornament represents a gift for a person or an organization. Gifts identified on the ornament are the needs expressed by the various organizations St. John Neumann is supporting.

The Giving Tree in 2017 will run from November 11 - December 3, 2017.

How do I participate?

  1. Select one or more tags from the tree for an organization you would like to support.
  2. Purchase the item(s) requested on the tag.
  3. Return the item(s) to St. John Neumann by Sunday, December 3, 2017. Items should be unwrapped and have the gift tag attached. There will be labeled drop off boxes in the gathering space.

What if I am giving a cash donation or a gift card?

  1. Please write a check payable to the organization.
  2. Drop off gift cards or checks in the box labeled Giving Tree in the gathering space before or after Mass, or bring them to the parish office during regular office hours.
