Events

Annual Veterans Recognition Prayer Service and Dinner

A special recognition prayer service and dinner for all veterans, including active duty personnel and reserves, who are parishioners or relatives/friends of parishioners of St. John Neumann and St. Thomas Becket parishes will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church at 4030 Pilot Knob Road. Veteran's families are most welcome. The dinner will be free for all veterans and their families. Other attendees will be asked to make a free will offering.

The celebration will start at 5:30 p.m. with a half-hour prayer service, followed by an Italian-style dinner at 6pm. There will be a program to recognize vets that includes a drawing for prizes. The event is sponsored by the St. John Neumann Military Service Support Ministry.

Space is limited and so reservations are required! If you plan to attend, please call the SJN receptionist at 651-454-2079 by Tuesday, November 4 to make your reservations. Please be prepared to provide the name and service branch of the veteran plus the number of relatives/guests of the veteran who will be attending. If you need transportation please let us know also.
