Saint John Neumann’s Parish Health Ministry provides education, support, and guidance to foster health, healing, and wellness to meet the needs of our parishioners and community.

Parish Health Ministry offers:

  • Annual Bloodmobile
  • Caregiver Support Groups
  • CPR/AED Training
  • Educational Information and Seminars
  • Family Caregivers Support Program
  • File for Life
  • Monthly Blood Pressure Screenings

Annual Bloodmobile is offered on March 15, 2018 from 1:00-7:00 pm in the Social Hall.

Blood Pressure Screenings are offered the second weekend of each month after the 5:00 pm Mass on Saturday and the 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12 pm masses on Sunday. 

CPR/AED training is offered twice a year in the spring and fall. Watch for upcoming dates!

Educational Information is offered monthly through bulletin boards that address specific health related information.

Educational Seminar Series are designed to support and meet the needs of our parish community. Presentations are on topics beneficial to family caregivers. Upcoming events for 2017-2018:

  • Medicare Update: Sunday August 27 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm in the Adult Education Room and in the Spring-watch the bulletin for more information.
  • Caregiver Education Series: Saturdays September 16, and November 18, 2017; January 20 and April 21, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 am in Adult Education room.  Watch the bulletin for topics.
  • Coffee with Caregivers:  Saturdays September 23 and November 25 from 8:45-10:00 am in the Adult Education Room.
  • Paths to Faithful Caregiving Series: Saturdays September 30, October 7, 14, 21, 28 from 9:00-10:30 am in the Good Shepherd room.
  • Sacrament of the Sick and Funeral Planning: Saturday November 4 from 3:00-4:45 pm in the Adult Education room.
  • Catholic Health Care Directives: Saturday January 27 from 3:30-4:45 pm in the Adult Education Room.

Family Caregivers Support Program is an information and referral service for those in a caregiver role. The program is staffed by volunteer nurses and social workers experienced and knowledgeable in caregiving and its challenges.  Meetings with caregivers are private and are offered at a location convenient to you.  Call 651-209-8590 for an appointment.
